A rotary encoder is comprised of an internal coded disc and a sensing head used to sense the rotary position. Encoders are used in all types of motion sensing applications, including machine tooling, semiconductor positioning and multi-axis positioning.

φ78 Incremental Type.
Tough spindle withstand large load (radial 100 N, thrust 50 N), durable bearing lasts for 1.2 x 1010 revolutions. Dust and splash proof. Totem-pole output allows longer cable extension.
Servo mounting is available for easy home position adjustment.

Compact body with 50 mm diameter and 35 mm depth.
Protection selectable according to the operating environment.
IP65 dust and splash proofed with aluminum die-cast casing.
Wide range of resolution
from 1 to 2,500 P/R.
A robust φ8 mm aluminum shaft.
Wide voltage ranging from
4.75 to 30 V DC.
Servo mounting is available for easy home position adjustment.

Very small body with fモ50 mm diameter and 35 mm depth.
Dust and splash proofed with reinforced aluminum die-cast casing. A fモ8 mm strong stainless steel shaft for tough spindle withstanding large load.
Accurate gray code output.
Metal slit with shock resistance of 980 m/s2
(glass slit with 2048 type).

Resolution of up to 10 bits or 1024. Strong shaft that supports 100 N/radial and 50 N/thrust using a reinforced spindle.
